If I'm running the MQClient and Server on the same machine, what are the different configurations I need to set up? I went through the MQClient book but it's somewhat confusing. My environment is Solaris and MQSeries v5.2. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Are u saying about the configuration of two connection modes
1- binding connection mode
2- client connection mode

I'm running the client on the same machine as the server and issuing the MQCONN calls, this is a client mode right?

MQCONN is used for both client and server apps.
In fact the only difference in a MQ Client app and MQ Server App is the libs you link with. There are some exceptions, but in this world there always are
