Hai all
When I try to connect Mqseries Client to the Server machine ,I get an Error code 2035
,The description for this error code is that the user is not authorized to get a connection.
Anyone know how to solve this problem?
I have set the environment variable for MQSERVER and also started the listener.

Hi,
you can do the following:
work with the same userid and password in the client and the server machines.
It is faster but not very secure... |

Hi,
That's right, this could well be because the client user does not exist on the server machine. You need to use a username of a user that's part of the mqm group on the server.
Or if you have administration privileges on the server, you can set-up the MCAUSER variable on the channel that the client is using to your username.
Or if you have administration privileges, you can disable security by doing one of the following:
- in the qm.ini file of your queue manager, comment out the Security Services stanza
- in a unix system, use:
export MQSNOAUT=yes
(you won't be able to change it back)
(on NT, SET MQSNOAUT=yes)
Hope this helps.

MQSNOAUT=yes
Is this effective when qmgrs is created when MQSNOAUT=no, default one? Can I switch back to no or yes as and when needed?
Thanks. |

Read the admin manual and read up on setmqaut.
Read the client manual
Check out the documentation button
Use the search button
No need to disable security. Just work with it. |
