i am working with MQ 5.3 on windows ...... can anybody tell as to what shall be the MQSC commands that i need to execute if i want to create an cluster without using the Websphere MQ Console .....

Just to be clearer about what Ashoon said,
"The MQ Cluster manual has step by step instructions for what you're looking for..."

which are easy to turn into mqsc commands.

This is a start :

runmqsc <Qmgr you want to hold full repository>

ALTER QMGR REPOS(CLUSTERNAME)

The rest depends on what you want to do with the cluster. Create another QM with full repository? Create cluster-sender, cluster recevier channels? Create clsuter queues?
