I want to communicate between 2 WAS servers using embedded messaging, but i don't want to use MQ Series.......How can I do it?..... |

Make sure that your embeded messaging is declared in a scope that satisfies both servers.
Declare it only on one machine/server and see if you can reach it from the other.
Declare it on both and see if you can read messages put by server1 from server2.
However you need to be aware that it is not a full fledged MQ implementation and does have some limits build into the product.(read the manuals)

Sorry I was thinking about WAS 5.
Was 6 is quite different and should not have any difficulties if the JMS Engine is declared in the right scope(cell, node)...

I don't think you can do this with the WAS5 embedded messaging, because as far as I know, the WAS5 embedded messaging doesn't let you connect even to another JVM on the same machine, much less on a different machine. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
