Docs tell me the configuration manager will create its own database internally on creation. i am planning on using a remote db2 database for the broker database.

i dont need to have db2 installed to run config manager locally?

if so i want to be that database to be remote aswell. how do i set this up?

correct, the V6 configmgr doesn't need any database setup done by you , at all.
