Hi.
Configuration: MQ 5.3 and MQ 6.0.
AIX Client, Windows Server.
This is the way to define the communication on the client:

export MQSERVER='CHANNEL1/TCP/server-hostname(port)'

Is there another method?
(question raised by a user . I think it's perfect)
TIA

The MQ Clients manual will give more detail, but there are three ways:

(1) setting the MQSERVER variable
(2) using client channels in a client channel table
(3) specifying the connection info on a MQCONNX call.
