Hi All,
We are planning to install Message Broker 5.1 in pServer AIX environment. We have MQ 6.0 version. Message broker is a 32-bit application and supports 32-bit DB2 version. Will Message broker supports MQ 64-Bit environment or I need to install MQ in 32-Bit for Message Broker support. Have anyone succeed in setting up similar environment. Thanks in advance.
Regards,

Thanks for reply,
Also, I want to know Message Broker runtime for this environment. Will Message Broker exploits 64-bit capability of MQ server or still use 32-Bit libraries available in MQ 6.0.
Thanks & Regards,

64 Bit Addressing provides extended Memory usage of upto 16 TeraBytes of memory. Current 32 bit environment provides 2GB of real memory and thus 64 bit memory operation eliminates unwanted paging and swapping operations.. I made these conclusions from zSeries and really no idea about pSeries.
