Hi
I would like to install MQ 5.3 on a 4 node Windows 2003 cluster. The documentation seems to refer in general to a 2 node cluster configuration.
Has anyone done this?
Is it a supported configuration ?
Would there be any additional steps in the installation?
I already have a number of 2 node clusters that all installed and work well. Just not so sure if the same process would apply to the 4 node cluster

Hi andrewc,
I'm having trouble setting up a Listener to failover along with the QMgr in a MSCS environment.
Should the Listener be created normally or using Custom Service? Should the Listener be created prior to putting the QMgr into MSCS control? or can it be created afterward?
I'm setting up a MQ environment on a MQ5.3 csd11 on Windows 2003.
The chapter 13 on SAG doesn't seem to provide much directions about this topic. Maybe you can help me with some advise. Any pointers?
Make node Ip address shared resource.
Run listener is independent on each node.
Set for autostart.
you need create listener from MQservices snap in once for each node.
And failover and back again to check listener working.
I did like this. On first failover it did not work. But on subsequent failover, it went through well.
