Is there any way to do a sort on part of a a string, eg characters, 4 to 8

Hi sam999,
if you are asking about querying for workItems with some characters from position 4 to 8,
Yes you can.
use '*your four characters*' in your query.

Thanks but I'm talking about the sort on worklists, eithr through the webclient or fat client....... if you konw how to do this let me know.
