Hi all,
I am new here. Got this error since yesterday but was unable to find out what is the problem.
I am installing MQ on Linux, and i have actually installed a few times using the same method. But this time i got this error when i try to install MQSeriesRuntime-5.3.0-1:
error: install: %pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping MQSeriesRuntime-5.3.0-1
I have tried to find the reason but to no avail. There is enough disk space, i set the kernel already. Anyone encounter this before? Or any way for me to determine what is the cause of the problem?
Thanks. |

You could try adding -vv to the rpm command, this should give you more information about why the scriptlet has failed. You have run mqlicense.sh to
accept the license conditions ? _________________ Philip Morten

I haven't gotten MQ to run on FC4 (others have failed as well). FC3 works okay (but, it too, isn't supported). _________________ -wayne |

I have an MQ 6 client working on FC4. Unofficial, unsupported, I guess. |
