i am writing an output that is MRM it has short integers and character fileds.
s9(4) comp.
x(10).
i get this error when writing to output
RM has thrown an unknown exception 5347 and it has my message set identifier in the error text. |

Place a Trace node with the $Root pattern before the MQOutput node. Post the results here. |

can i set the file path in the trace node to be /home/user/trece.log?
dont seem to work. I file exists but no trace information is getting to it. |

You have to choose the Destination to 'File' and specify any valid path for the File Path.
Btw, did you use ${Root} as Pattern? |
