NOPE... If I am understanding what you want.

If you are saying can I have multiple Domains. the answer is yes, but they are separate, i.e. NO connection between them.

I originally interpreted your question to mean can I have Multiple domains that are aware of each other, Or some people want to have multiple MQWF databases in the same domain (I'm one of these). In this case the answer is NO... BUT it's in the Plan

John, when you say it is "in the plan" do you mean in a future release of Workflow?

I was wondering if someone could confirm something for me. Could you ever have two Runtime databases within the same SYSTEM GROUP? Would IBM support such a configuration?

Thanks.

"In the Plan" means that we might someday see this. The better way to get an answer to a question like this would be to ask the IBM Developers. They monitor the ibm.software.websphere.mqworkflow news group at news.software.ibm.com

As far as the relationship between SystemGroup and database goes. The database exists at the SystemGroup level, so there can never be multiple databases within a SystemGroup as far as I understand things.

I'm going to really go off on a tangent here. Could you:

Have one physical server (not a OS/390) that had:
1) Two configurations in fmczutil, call it SYS1 part of SYSGRP1 and another one SYS2 part of SYSGRP2
2) Each SYSGRP had a connection to a different RT database on the same DB2 server

I guess the real question I'm getting at is could you have more than one SYSTEM (and SYSTEM GROUP) on a single physical box.

I hope I'm making sense. Thanks again.

I see no reason why you could not have two configurations. I would look at the install manual closely, to see if there are any limitiations.

GOOD LUCK
