Hi, I'm reading Distributed Computing with IBM MQSeries by Len Gilman and Richard Schreiber (copyright 1997). I'm new to MQ, is that the best book out there? Any recommendations?
Thanks, Frank

Have a look at the manuals and red books. There is plenty of excellent material there.

Len's book is a bit dated (1996?) ....

If you're into java/jms, you might try Kareem Yusuf's :

In view of WebSphere 6.0 and the new JMS engine isn't that book already a little bit dated ? Not that it doesn't contain excellent generic material though...

By the time it's published, it's out of date.
