Process Server is the name for the enterprise version of WebSphere App Server, sort of.

It is the version 6 of WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation (WBISF).

It is similar, in some ways. It is also similar to ICS.

If you are being asked to be a developer, it should be relatively simple to move. If you are being asked to be an administrator, then it's a whole new ball game.

The Info Center for Process Server is here

It does work with flows, and it does have java development.

I'm not by any means an expert on this product - I have some knowledge of WBISF and I haven't played with Process Server at all.

I've given you about as much help as I can - the Info Center should be very helpful.

For the third time, it should be similar from a development point of view.

It does use flows. It does *not* use ESQL, it uses Java instead.

I am not an expert on the product, but i have looked at the product.

It is built over WAS ND v6.

And includes:-
Work Flow Engine (MQWF)
Broker (Java based does not use ESQL ), I would say it includes ESB
