When trying to create a queue manager in Windows I get the following error:

AMQ8101: WebSphere MQ error (893) has occurred

I thought this issue was permission related, but I made myself a memeber of mqm group and it still didnt work.

OSVersion windows server 2003
MQSeries version is 5.3 with csd08

Please help

We've figured out the problem. It was related to permission on the username in which i was logging in.

hey zaklum ,
Can you say what was the exact issues ...you said permission right
Even i'm having the same issues and i created the user mqm.
Not the absolute root (linux admin) Does that make this issues occur !
Because apart from that every thing went fine ...but when i log in as mqm and issues that ..it is throwing me this error !
