Hi, I'm rather new to MQ and AS400.
I'm cleaning up serveral AS400 and other platform servers.
Are the JOB files in the Error folder /QIBM/UserData/mqm/errors of any use. Some are there for serveral years.
The same with the FDC files. Normaly I should use the FDC files to report or determine a problem. But some are Older than me

The JOB files just contain a joblog of the process that cut the FDC at the time it was cut. They are often quite useful in troubleshooting (I wish all platforms had this).
If you're tossing the FDCs, you may as well toss the associated .JOB files. This is totally safe.
Thanks a lot Steve and Jeff. I will clean the errors so that when an actual error happens we can trace it back.
MQ is instable for the moment on one of our servers.
