I am using WMQI 2.1 with NEON Rules and Formatter. In NEON formatter GUI, when I click on ‘Jump to rules’ in Output control, Rules Management Console comes up but when I create Subscription’s Action in NEON Rule GUI under ‘NNSYRF_OUTPUT_CONTROL’ application group with appropriate message type it says: “Error: Invalid or Missing definition file ‘Nnsyrf.xml’.

It doesn’t give this error if I create subscription in Rules without using ‘Jump to Rules”

I would appreciate your help

I'm sorry that I don't have the answer because I have exactly the same problem (also working with WMQI v 2.1).
When I jump to rules I can add subscriptions but within a subscription I can't add new functionality (it gives the error already mentioned).

We have an other implementation of the NSSY on another machine and that one works fine. I have checked both the Nnsyrf.xml files against echother and they are exactly the same (so no error there) they're both in the same directory and both machines have the same path settings (so the rules engine should be able to 'see' the Nnnsyrf.xml files in both cases).

I'm out of options what can I do to solve this problem ?

hmm.. now that I think of maybe I can make the right subscribtions in the other NNSY on the other server, make an export of the right elements and import that one in the right NNSY. But then I'm still left with the original problem.

aaargh... I´ve done the export action I thought of at the end of the last message but the NNSY refuses to import the file. When I press the import button (after I select the right file, and the contents displays properly) it doesn´t do anything (and doesn´t say anything, not even an error message on the conflicts tab). It absolutely refuses to import.

There is another strange thing within the 'jump to rules' section of the formatter I can't place maybe someone on the forum can shed some light on it.
I can't duplicate a subscription (when I right click on a subscription it just doesn't give the option duplicate). I think it has something to do with a 'rights' issue but I can't place it.
The machine on which it correctly works is a NT machine but it doesn´t work on a W2000 are there any known issues with NNSY plugin with the MQSI v2.1 (CSD06) on W2000 ?
