hi all
i need help
my problem is
AIX OS 5700 64-bit kernel
1- i installed db2 8.2
2- i installed mq 6.0
3- then message broker 6
4- when creating broker i get error IOT/abort trap
5- i increased user data segment to -1
6- set permissions of /var/mqsi to 777 to make user privliges over files
7- all databse notaion that IBM site hints i do it except tcp connection to enable more than 10 connections in time
8- i found answers that say change to libdb2.a
9- others says change from libdb2.a to db2.o( ididnot found this file )
10- others says change db2.o to libdb2_36 ...
no new news happened
is 64-bit could be the problem or what
11- when i run mqsiprofile i found ODBCINI variable becomes in my path its path is to /var/mqsi/odbc/.odbc.ini
my .odbc.ini file is
[ODBC Data Sources]
DB2 Wire Protocol=DataDirect 5.1 DB2 Wire Protocol
[DB2 Wire Protocol]
Driver=/usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2.a
Description=DataDirect 5.1 DB2 Wire Protocol
#Database applies to DB2 UDB only
Database=WBRKBKDB
DynamicSections=200
GrantAuthid=PUBLIC
GrantExecute=1
IpAddress=localhost
LoadBalancing=0
[ODBC]
IANAAppCodePage=4
InstallDir=/opt/odbc64v51
Trace=1
TraceDll=/opt/odbc64v51/lib/odbctrac.so
TraceFile=odbctrace.out
UseCursorLib=0

Hey jery, interesting semi-poetic postic style you've got there, you do know you can write more than 3 words per line, right?
Anyway, forgive my over-simplification of your problem, but if I were you I'd simply: uninstall everything (db2, wmq, mb), manually make sure everything is deleted, reboot the server and install again real slow. And most importantly, I'd do all this as root account, otherwise such problems as described may indeed occur.
AFIAK, 64bit shouldn't be a problem, at least according to official IBM statements. |
