Hi All,

I have WebSphere MQ v5.3 CSD05 on a Windows XP machine.
Queue Manager Name: CCHDFCQM

User Id:wbndbrk

Actually I am using this queue manager in the WBIMB for creating the configuration Manager. My broker is in the AIX box.

In the Windows services pannel the IBM MQSeries Broker ConfigMgr status is showing as started.

But in the windows Task Manager the bipconfigmgr.exe is showing intermitently, means sometimes it is showing and sometimes it is not showing.

This user id is in both the administrator and mqm group.

Getting an AMQ4100 when starting the MQ GUI. An FDC is generated each time the MMC attempts to start. The FDC shows the following:

A quick serach of the IBM site revealed the following thread and solution:

Solution
This a permissions issue. DCOMCNFG shows the MQ Service running under MUSR_MQADMIN. The MQ Services start and stop normally. Run the following commands to reregister the MQ Service and the proxy:

amqmsrvn -regserver
regsvr32 amqmspsn.dll

This could be a collection of different permissions issues. Some could be Domain or other policy related. Are your admins restricting COM/COM+ components? I've run into this issue before where I had to initialize the COM components each time and it was tied to Domain policies disabling COM components related to websphere.

It could be an accounts permission issue. Have you setup your websphere account correctly?

Do a search of AMQ6119 and you'll find many responses to your problem on this board.

Cheers,
