I was trying to integrate booth the toolkits but was unsuccessful. Wondering what the gurus think about it?
I tried to install it by copying the <WMQ install dir>\eclipse\plugins directory into <wbimb toolkit install dir>\ibtoolkit\eclipse\plugins as mensioned in the refrech pack. But was unsuccessful.
Any Ideas!!

You probably need to copy the features, the plugins, and the links.
That's what I've done to integrate the MQExplorer into a straight Eclipse install. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

If you've installed the refresh pack to MQ, then you should be able to use the update manager from the WMB eclipse toolkit by just pointing it at the MQ directory. Worked fine for me. |

May be I am missing some this here!!
This is what I am doing….
1. copied contents of the dir features, plugins from <wmq v6 install dir>\eclipse into
<wbimb v6 install dir>\eclipse features & plugins respectively.
2. wbimb v6 tool kit; Help\Software Updates\Fins and Install
3. clicked: Search new features
4. clicked: next
5. clicked: New Local site
6. In the pop up window, I pointed it to <wmq v6 install dir>\eclipse\features\com.ibm.mq.explorer_6.0.1.0
A pop up window is displayed saying ‘Invalid Site’ |

No need to do any manual copying

ok

Just point at <mq install dir>\eclipse |

The quote you posted earlier says you should point Update Manager at the 'eclipse' directory. Not at a particular plugin or feature. So that would be <mq install root>/eclipse.
Also, you are trying to do both methods at once... you shouldn't. Either use the update manager, or copy the features, the plugins, AND the links manually. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
