Hello Everybody,
I see a problem with status of MQSeries (Green Colored Up Arrow or Red Color Down Arrow) getting updated on the taskbar
I was asked to check is MQSeries is running or not on one the servers on WIN2003 and MQ 5.3 Version. When I see in Services it is set to Automatic. On Taskbar it shows as down red arrow which shows MQSeries Stopped. But when I tried to start MQSeries from the task bar, it will not start due to error: Could not start the IBM MQSeries service on Local Computer. Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure. I logged on myself and I am in mqm and Administrators group. But when I opened and MQ Explorer I could see MQSeries QueueManager running. Also from cmd prompt when I used dspmq command I see it as running. In the event log when ever I tried to start I see "The MQSeriesServices service was unable to log on as .\MUSR_MQADMIN with the currently configured password due to the following error:
Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
To ensure that the service is configured properly, use the Services snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC)."
MQSeries is running but I dont know why it is not updated (Green Arrow up)on the task bar nor about why I am receiving the error 1609 "The service did not start due to a logon failure. " with MUSR_MQADMIN
Please let me know if anybody know anything about this error.
I would really appreciate if you could post me any suggestions to resolve this.
