Hi,
I am using WMQ V5.3 + CSD10, WebSphere Partner Gateway(WPG) V6.0
When the applications related to WPG Stopped then it is reporting 10-15 errors in the System log it says
------------------------------------
Error on receive from host name(IP)
An erroroccured receiving data from name(ip) over TCP/IP This may be due to a communications failure.
The return code from TCP/IP (recv) was 10054(X'2746')
Record these values and tell the system administrator.
------------------------------------
Each time when I stop and start service this type of errors reported.
The same error reported with JMS and JDBC,Workflow adapters.
I am not getting any detailed message related to this in MQ log or Queue Manager log.
One thing I noticed was these errors not causing any problems to the applications.
What and where I need to configure, to make these errors not to appear.
Thanks in advance

Use the search button (above) for your TCP code 10054. There have been several threads about that lately. _________________ -wayne |

Hi,
Thanks for your reply,
Well, I searched the entire forum. But I not found any exact solution for this.
Some one tells to apply CSD 7, CSD 8 but I have MQ Series5.3 with CSD 10.
According to some information we have to make entry in the regedit to suppress this from appearing in the Event viewer.
If any body who have faced such problems and resolved then let me know.
I think this is a general error almost every one getting if they use any JMS related applications.
I am not exactly sure about whether Websphere Partner Gateway applications closes the connection before shutting down.
Thanks in advance
