I have installed the broker component on a company workstation that has the 'Documents and Settings' folder removed, presumably as part of the standard build. The install is supposed to add entries to '..\All Users\Application Data\IBM\MQSI' in this folder.
Having detected that the folder is not available, the install has therefore decided to use 'Winnt\Profiles\All Users' instead. However, although it states in the install log:

Quote:

set MQSI_WORKPATH=C:\WINNT\Profiles\All Users\Application Data\IBM\MQSI


:no 'Application Data' folder has been created.
I have a call in to IBM but wondered if anyone else has encountered this problem and received an answer?

Not sure why the install did not create the directory (are there any references to createWorkPathDirectory in the install log?) but you could try creating "C:\WINNT\Profiles\All Users\Application Data\IBM\MQSI" manually after install. Then run...

mqsicreateworkpath "C:\WINNT\Profiles\All Users\Application Data\IBM\MQSI"

...to create the entries you need.
