We have a message (CCSID 500) coming into a Linux broker that contains the EBCDIC NL character x'15'. The flow specifies 'Convert' in the MQInput node.
The data conversion White Paper states:
Quote:
Websphere MQ for AIX, Sun Solaris, Linux and HP-UX always convert the EBCDIC NL to Line Feed before using any of the conversion tables supplied.....
. This is what we require, ie x'0A'.
However we are seeing that the EBCDIC NL x'15' is being converted to Unicode NL x'85'. The 'ConvEBCDICNewLine' stanza in mqs.ini has not been specified and the description above should therefore be the default behaviour.
Any suggestions?
