How to convert a Q into a flat file or perhaps copy a Q into a new Q on UNIX and Mainframes?
Thanks,

You need a program.

what do you want to do with the flat file?
z/os has a admin utility copy that can be used also. i am not a fan of support pacs which can cause your company license issues.

Have a look on Paul's support pack MQ71, it can offload your queue into a file on your windows box, and you can put into another WMQ...

You can also use MO71 to directly copy/move messages to another queue and eventually to a remote queuemanager.

I use MO71 daily to do a lot of those tricks.

The challane is to move the message to another box on another os.... Paul have solved it.

Just my $0.02
