Configuring queue manager to accept client

i used the following command to start a listener program

runmqlsr -t tcp [-m QMMNAME] - p 1414

and get the following error:

Argument supplied to command are not valid

Help. Anyone

Do you want to give us a clue as to which Operating system this is.

Also, the square brackets "[" and "]" should not be entered as part of the command, so if you did enter the command exactly as you show, that's probably your problem. Also, is your Queue Manager actually called "QMMNAME".

and just for clarity's sake I would make the -m the first parm if present
