Seriously, what was the point of deprecating the simple version string utility mqver and replacing it with dspmqver?

Would it really have been that hard to either keep the old name or to ship mqver as an alias or link to dspmqver???

well Hursley might have had a visit from the coding and naming convention commitee...

Q: hmm dspmq interersting what does it do?
A: it shows you installed Queuemanagers and it's state

Q: hmm mqver what does it do?
A: it shows you the installed MQ version.

Q: huh why isn't this called dspmqver then?
A: ....

I can live with dspmqver if in the next csd it will display the csd level too
or maybe the csd will contain a dspmqcsd or dspmqfp command

The committe already did visit IBM, but their heads exploded when they reviewed IBM's website standards and change control practices....
