If you have SSL turned on for a channel on the MQ Server, are there any settings on the client that can tell it when to use SSL and when not to?(Same channel)
So using Channel ABC
Application A wants to use SSL
Application B does not
Is this possible in the client settings? |

If you use MQCONNX, then you can fully specify the channel definition, including whether to use SSL. If you don't want to do that, then just define two CLNTCONN channels in your client channel table (with two different QMNAMES) and then select one of the channels via the qmgrname on the MQCONN call.
You can't do it with the MQSERVER variable. _________________ -wayne |

If you have SSL on the channel on the server side, why would you ever ask the client not to use SSL???? How else are they gonna get in? _________________ Peter Potkay
