onMessage keeps running, but not triggered after QueueManager rollback in order to cleanup old logfiles.
I experienced my MessageListener to keep listening to a queue with messages present but failing to read them, when the QM 'restarts'
I need to restart the MessageListener to get it to effectively read the messages again...
No error is thrown when the QM 'restarts' and I see no function available to test the connection

any ideas how to detect this situation?

Have you tried to add a ConnectionListener to your connection?

This should allow you to gracefully close the Listener (stop, set to null, close ++) and reattach to a new session. Enjoy
