Middleware Integration Analyst
Duties:
The Middleware Integration Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and testing of MQ Series enabled applications and components. Specifically, this analyst will be responsible for the development of a common messaging platform, the GCIB Service Bus.
The Middleware Integration Analyst’s responsibilities include:
· Design, develop, and test MQ Series components for the Service Bus
· Configure and manage MQ Series server components including defining and configuring channels and queues
· Develop processes and procedures for managing and maintaining the MQ Series platform
· Design failover and high availability for MQ Series components and functionality
· Translate integration requirements into messaging services
· Develop testing plans for integration testing
· Support integration testing
The position will be located in New York or Charlotte.
Education and Experience Required:
Candidate will have 3-5 years experience in technology development, focused on the planning and design and testing phases of the software development lifecycle
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
Strong experience with messaging, EAI, or middleware technologies required
Strong MQ Series experience specifically in setup, configuration, and development
Strong experience with Java development including JMS
Specific skills in TIBCO Rendezvous (RV), Sonic MQ/JMS, or TIBCO Business Events desired
Excellent communication skills both in technical documentation and verbal communication
