Location: Somewhere over the Rainbow this side of Never-never land.

For some reason, the names of the rpm packages for V6 are all in lowercase on Linux.
For example,
MQ V6 uses names in the format MQSeries.*
MB V6 uses names in the format mqsi60.*

Maybe its a cunning plan just to confuse us when searching for packages that have been installed!

It would be nice if the names started with the "mq" in the same case

I know that you can search (in several ways) the output from "rpm -qa".

However, other IBM supplied rpm's including DB2 & WMQ use an Uppercase part at the start of the rpm name.

This is a small nitpick but the sort of thing that hard pressed sys admins find frustrating when under pressure to fix problems.
