This is just the sort of post that is killing this forum.
I do not post much any more, because there are just too many questions like this, where the poster has obviously given no thought to the problem, before asking a question which has no answer because it is too vague.
I could ask, for example:
Which queue, init or triggered?
What are the queue's trigger parameters?
Have you read the APG Conditions for triggering?
What does your question mean?
but I am not going to, or at least I am not going to pay any attention to the answers.
I also cannot be bothered to do the thinking for people like Shanta, or to tease the information from them bit by bit until we find out that they could have solved the problem themselves with five minutes thought.
Is there a feature where we can filter people like Shanta out of the search list?
If so, we can then deal with real problems posted by people who have made an effort, and leave the lazy and stupid to their own devices.
If not, I am saying goodbye to this forum... _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

Have to agree with nigel
I admit there are times that I think silly questions and then solve the problem myself
but this is simple MQ administration
RTFM people
and if you have to ask what that means ....... |

you can clear the messages from the queue by using the
"clear qlocal " command. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

Assuming that the queue isn't open for some process, which if it is, then we'll get another qestion. In which case, there are a bunch of SupportPacs which will suffice.

Queue is ABCDE
After Starting the trigger moniter program id the Queue depthe is not zero or the messages are stuckup
in the queue,
As we start the trigger program it reads the trigger queue
The trigger is a first one, so it's only on first message in queue that a message is sent to ....
I run the job ( execute shell script)
would manually start the job that reads the queue... it would help business who is upset now
and suppress trigger / put trigger of the queue with
alter qlocal (ABCDE) notrigger
alter qlocal (ABCDE) trigger |

Why do you refuse to take simple steps that will save you time, and make us much less annoyed at you? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
