MQ error 893 - if it is in HEX - is 2195 decimal and it means MQRC_UNEXPECTED_ERROR.
You can try re-install, or look to fdc's and errore logs to find more.

Do you have this line in your /var/mqm/conv/table/ccsid.tbl file?
Code: |
# CCSID Base CodePage CodePage Type Enc ACRI Codeset
# CCSID DBCS SBCS name
# ----- ----- -------- -------- ---- ---- ----- -------
#
# Western European, English, International
819 819 0 819 1 3 0 ISO-8859-1
819 819 0 819 1 3 0 ANSI_X3.4-1968

Don't have this line, 819 819 0 819 1 3 0 ANSI_X3.4-1968 .
Should I go ahead to add it to the file?

Make a backup of the file, add the line and try it out...it can't hurt _________________ -wayne |
