We are running the base MQ Broker. It was mentioned that upgrading to WBI will give better perormance for Pub/Sub. I know the features you get by upgrading but never heard of performance as a reason to upgrade. Anyone?????????

Yes.

The Pub/Sub engine in Broker is significantly optimized over the engine in the base product.

This is, essentially, the only reason that Event Broker is a stand-alone product at all. Event Broker is really just the optimized pub/sub engine with the UNS and a little bit extra - but no transformation.

So you can upgrade to Event Broker if you need high speed pub/sub, or pub/sub with topic security but do NOT need message transformation.

There are actually performance report support packs.

I'd be surprised if they didn't offer comparisons between the two...
