Bank Of America has a position open on the Messaging Engineering team. This is an admin team for WMQ, WBIB, Tibco RV & EMS, and Sonic MQ. Experience with WMQ technologies required. Tibco and Sonic experience is a bonus and if you don't have it when you start, you will soon. See the job posting at the Bank Of America Careers web site.
The posting says Chicago but Charlotte, NC is also available for this position. The Engineering team builds WMQ configurations in Dev and Test then turns them over to the Ops team who implements in Prod and does the On-Call support. The Engineering team also develops administrative tools and scripts, creates Best Practices and certifies new releases or features.
Sorry, no visa sponsorship or relocation provided. _________________ -- T.Rob

There is a lot of speculation in our JobPostings forum about Bank of America
They say that Openings are closed and now they post again.
It's better that guys who represent the BOA will give their personal Mail ID like Yahoo or someother mailId.
These postings can be done by anyone anonymously.
we need postings which are idiot proof so that no one can make a better idiot to break it. |

Aans,
Let's see if I can address some of your points. This is a valid, open position - the original post contains a link to the listing. There are 160,000 employees in the bank so yes, you are likely to see positions open and fill. Sometimes new hires don't work out and a position opens up again. More often though new positions open up which may appear similar to a previous position. In many cases, the same job description is used in different postings for similar positions. But if it's posted on the Careers page, be assured it is real. In this case, we've hired several positions in messaging over the last few months, some on the admin teams and others in the project teams. This is yet another admin position.
My email ID is available to registered users who are logged in and they can use the BBS to message me. Furthermore, contact information for the bank's recruiter is available in the job listing, just click the link provided.
I believe the anonymous posting in this forum is specifically to allow recruiters to post without requiring an ID but you'd have to ask Brandon about his policy. Personally, I'm happy to put up with a little background noise in the forum if it means we get more postings from recruiters but as for myself I always log in to post. _________________ -- T.Rob
