I need to take the backup of MQ Object , usoing Solaris , MQ5.3
I have MS03 utility installed at cL=ms03
When i fire

saveqmgrc -m xxxx -f xxxx.TST following error message is genertate

SAVEQMGR V5.3.1a
Compiled for Websphere MQ V5.3 on Aug 6 2003
MQCONN failed for xxxx, CC=2 RC=2058

Please help how can i take the backup

That return code means:

2058 0x0000080a MQRC_Q_MGR_NAME_ERROR

maybe "xxxx" is not the queue manager name?

Do you mean to use the client version? (i take it that is what saveqmgrc is)
