Hai all,
In the mqmgroup we have MUSR_MQADMIN user created by default.actually the problem is when i am going to configure with mw webmethods i used to set a password for that. But actually what i am going to ask is whether is there any default password for that.
suggestions will be appreciated.

but really, DON'T USE THIS USER.
Create another user that is in the mqm group.
Or even better, create another user that is not in the mqm group, but merely has only the necessary permissions to the queue manager and queues that it needs.
There is a default password. It is automatically generated, and you shouldn't really change it. If you do need to change it, then you need to carefully review the MQ manuals for what to do. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I agree Jefflowery.
You might want to create a new user id and assign it a group membership of mqm group as well Amdinistrators group.
If it has something relating to a database then it would be good to assign even the DBA group membership for this user. |

Just don't map it to an NIS user. Make sure the user exists locally on the server. This caused us endless headaches whenever we had network outages... _________________ Brandon Duncan
