We are getting the following errors on one of our servers:
===============================================
Event Type: Error
Event Source: DynamoMQX(4DD10F4786841B80)
Event Category: None
Event ID: 12
Date: 9/28/2005
Time: 9:47:30 AM
User: N/A
Computer: PLANHM03
Description:
MQManagerFactory::EnlistResource: failed to get MQQueueManagerSrv object from GIT, hRes = 8000ffff
===============================================
Does anyone know what this error is, why we are getting it and how to resolve it?
Thanks,
Jig. |

What's Dynamo?
Does it have better logging?
Do you know what queue manager this server is attempting to connect to?
Do you know if it's trying to connect using bindings, or a client connection?
Do you know if the queue manager in question is active? Are there any messages in the queue manager's error logs? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

In short, Dynamo is a wrapper that goes around MQ Series to allow VB to talk to MQ.
I do not think it has better logging (as the only log file I found contains binary rubbish). There are no error messages at all for today in the queue managers error log and none at all related to Dynamo. |

Do you know what "GIT" is?
The error you're getting is that it can't get the resource from GIT. Maybe there's something wrong with the resource definition or with the access to GIT. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks. I'm trying to get a hold of some developers who implemented Dynamo and see if they can help me but I will also pass on your comments.
Thanks,
Jig. |
