Is there a way in buildtime to assign a workitem to either and individual or an organisation. It seems to be either/or. Anybody have any ideas?

I dont think it is possible to assign a workitem in either/or persons. but you can work around to this porblem. put two more activities(with same properties)and make the control connectors to both of them with dummy conditions so that you can assign to one person and one organization.

All dynamic assignments from page Staff 2 in Buildtime are ANDed together, so if I am understanding you correctly the answer is NO.

If you assign to a role, put that person in the role and they will get the assignment also.
