Hi All,
I have a activity assigned to a role and there are old WIs available for this avtivity which are in Ready state. The new user addeded to this role can't see the old workitems available for this acivity.
jmac,
u suggested two soln to similar problem in one of ur post.

I tried below options,but nothing worked.
1. forcerestart() of a workitem.
PDF itself says...StaffResolution will not be done in this case
2. restart()
for this WI should be in EXECUTED state.
3. refresh()
this also not worked.
4 . giving user access to workitems of some other user that already has WI.
Is there any way to make this user see the old workitems?

This is what I had suggested:
You have 2 possibilities to get the workitems for that user:
1) cause the workitems to be recreated.
2) give the user access to the workitems of some other user that already has the workitem
These are the only ways to accomplish what you want to do in my opinion (assuming I am understanding you correctly).

1 - 3 will not work. 4 will let the user see another user's workitem, it will not create a new workitem for you.

Assuming you are talking about the existing workitems the only way is to give that user access to the workitems of other users, in this case he will be able to see the workitems, and take ownership if desired.
IF what you want is to have workitems created for that user you must have the activity inside a block, and have that block fail its exit condition, which will then cause the activity to go thru staff resolution again.
