I need help on using the mqsnoop utility.
I am trying to run it on a solaris 5.8 with mq 5.3 CSD 06.

I get the ff error :
ld.so.1: mqsnoop: fatal: libimqc23as.so: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed

Also please let me know how to set up authority so that it resolves the remote objects.

The C in libimqc23as.so indicates client. My guess is that you are running a client version of a program on a system that only has the server installed.
