My webclient is on a Solaris box, running MQWF 3.4 and WMQ 5.3.05
I have 3 other configurations on this box, and they work fine. But this one times out after trying to connect with fmcautil. It had been working fine before, but now we can't log into our customized Webclient GUI.
It is clustered with a WF Server on HP, running the same (3.4 and 5.3.05)
I've read all the similar posts but I don't think any apply. I don't see any errors in the MQ or MQWF logs on Server or Client configuration. I've left and rejoined the cluster, I've refreshed repository information, I copied the AMQCLCHL.TAB from Server to Client...same issue. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. |

If will have this issue if you have multiple WebClient configs in the same App Server Instance. _________________ -Ratan |

Hi Ratan,
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean that one of the other Webclient configurations is somehow interfering with this one? Or are you saying that I will always have this problem? Because up until this week, all 4 configurations on this Sun box were working fine. The box did have an OS patch applied and was rebooted, but the same maintenance was also done on another Webclient machine we have and I am able to log into that one...
So far, I've tried shutting everything down (Workflow Server, Trigger Monitor, MQWF Server QM, Webclient QM, and even the Workflow server runtime DB) but same problem. I also deleted and recreated the Webclient configuration--same problem. Would it help to delete and recreate the Server configuration as well? I've verified TCP connectivity between Server and Webclient, and made sure the group and system are the same. |

I thought (think) so too, but I can telnet to localhost on the Webclient QM port, and I can also telnet from this box to the IP/port of the Workflow Server. I don't get any errors when displaying the channels in runmqsc (sometimes if there are channeltab problems, it will appear here) is there some other aspect of "connection" that I can check?
So I'm really at a loss as to why this particular Webclient configuration (which has the same setup as the other three) is hanging at fmcautil. I'm trying to avoid opening a call with IBM, but I may need to. |

I also want to mention that I can get both Cluster Sender and Cluster Receiver running on both Server and Webclient QM's. So it looks like the communication is there. It's almost got to be something wrong with clustering/sharing....it's driving me crazy. |
