Hi,
I'm trying to install WMQ5.3.0.9 on win 2003 EE with win 2003 EE domain controller and encountering trouble of
MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED and a lots of FDCs when I online the queue manager resource from the cluster administrator.
On domain controller, following environment has set up. And I use "cluster admin" domain account for installation and configuration of MQ.
I've set Read Group Membership and Read Group MembershipSAM "allowed" to User Object for "domain mqm" following the instructions on MQ's README which has been added for Windows 2003 environment.
I could see the Domain Group/User setting on each node as follows
Domain Admins(domain group)
|
+--cluster admin(domain user)
domain mqm(domain group )
|
+--cluster admin(domain user)
|
+--mqm(domain user)
I could see the Local Group/User setting on each node as follows
Administrators(local group)
|
+-Domain Admins(domain group)
|
+-Administrator
mqm (local group)
|
+-domain mqm(domain group)
And registered mqm domain user for The prepare WebSphere MQ wizard.
for problem determination, I rebuild queue manager, and this time, deleted AuthorizationService for the queue manager from the MQ Service(Service Tab of queue manager's property).
then It worked fine(onlied with no FDC's, could amqsput on Node1 -> failovered -> get on Node2).
I think something wrong with my User/Groups settings but can't determin exactly what is wrong so far.
I have tried to give full controll to the shared disc to everyone, but didn't work.
could anyone give me any advice to help my problem please! |

I shouldn't have named domain user "mqm".
I deleted mqm domain user from the domain controller and created domain user "mqm1", registered the user on DCOMCNFG, then everything worked fine. |
