Backup MQ file systems

Hi,

Our company is going through Disater recovery, planning and testing.We take the backup of the entire system filesystem backup, which will be used to reinstall the entire system. MQ is also included in the filesytems that were backed up.

Is there anything to be taken care while MQ is backed up? Like shutdown entire MQ etc.If some one has gone throuhg such DR exercise please advise.

Do refer to the guide suggested.
Briefly to describe - Close all the queues adn QMs. lOOK into the MQ and System log files and back them up Make sure you have the latest check points. Though this is just a peek at the process-to ensure everything returns to normal or everything is saved -you have to follow the procedures in the Back Up and Recovery guide.
