hi

In WBIMB5, how do i use a message catalog for my application which has messages specific to the application. There is a way to use messages 2949 tp 3000 from the WBIMB catalog WMQIv210,but i have many more messages than 50 to display and reuse. What i know is that maybe we need to create a prop file with messages(like java) and then register it by making a 'dll' with the registry or something. If this is the way, what are the steps and how do make a dll, etc.

Background - building a message catalog for custom messages

I am not able to compile a Message Compiler file without errors. It errs on the last dot(period) which is a message definition separator. Has anybody tried this.

I get only a bin file and an error.

Do you have a line-ending after the dot?

Try reversing whatever you have.
