Don't say "fu..ing reasons". I wish every software would give such clear reason codes and error descriptions.
You can also try mqrc <reason_code> and you will see for example:

C:\mqrc 2082
2082 0x00000822 MQRC_UNKNOWN_ALIAS_BASE_Q |
and there is a entire book out there ("MQ Reasons and numbers" is the name I believe) |

All of them are listed in an appendix in the APR, and specific ones for each MQI call are listed in the description of the call.

And, in fact, they are completely documented in the Messages guide, in an appendix.
And if IBM ever gets the v6 info center up online, then it will be linkable.
