Hi,


We had a MDB bean implements MessageDrivenBean & MessageListner. And it is deployed to WAS and used WebSphere MQ as JMS provider. The bean is able to process thousands/million of messages, however, we also got 'NULL POINTER EXCEPTION ERROR from onMessage(). And it looks like the MDB bean has received null message as well.

How would that be possible? Is there any bugs in the WebSphere MQ? Will that be some messages are too big and caused channel time out? How can I find and verify?

you might hit that scenario trying to access the body of a message that was built without a body/payload....
