I create Queue Manager using MQ elploere and Hide the queue manager when i use dspmq at command propmt it shows me the Queue manager
But i can't see the queue manager at MQ eploere nor can create new queue manager it gives me the return code as 8
How i can delete the queue manager from command prompt
Please tell me what does it mean if wueue manager status is ended immediately and unexpected.
"Hide" merely removes the queue manager from the explorer view.
If you want to delete the qm, you have two choices.
1) "Show" the queue manager in Explorer, make sure it is Stopped, and the right click on it and select "delete".
2) use dltmqm from the command line to delete it.
The queeu manager status should be self explanatory - the queue manager ended without being allowed to stop normally (either through a stop(Immediate) or through killing the proccesses), and it ended from an unexpected cause (like through killing the processes, or through a crash).
I think you should spend some time reading the Explorer help and the System Administration Guide - to get a better handle on basic MQ Administration and troubleshooting. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
