hi
Whether the Support pac IA0G can be applied for MQSI 2.02. If not, is there anyother other support pac similar to this for MQSI 2.02.
I want to use XSLT to transform an input XML to flat file.
Regards

The supportpac's documentation clearly states that it is only supported for v2.1. I would imagine you'd be hard-pressed to find any supportpacs that still support v2.0 (which has been out-of-support since 12/21/2003)

Prerequisites
The IBM XML Transformaton node supports IBM WebSphere MQ Integrator (Broker) V2.1 The function is included in WebSphere Business Integration Brokers V5, and this SupportPac is not required or supported on that release.
The XML Transformaton node is availaible for use on AIX, Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Windows 2000 and Sun Solaris. |
However, although it may not be supported, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't function under v2.0.2. The only way you're really going to know is to try it yourself, and determine if the risk is acceptable......btw, it wouldn't be for me. |

Hi
I have tried installing IA0G in my system have MQSI 2.02.
I is not even getting installed. It is looking for broker / control center of version MQSI 2.1 or greater.
Is there any way to convert an input XML to output XML / flat structure apart from esql coding.
Iam using MQSI 2.02 in Windows 2000.
Thanks

Am I missing something ? Are you reluctant to manually develop ESQL code or to using the Compute Node ?
It's been many, many years since I've worked with v2.0, but why can't you define the XML structures in the MRM domain, and use the 'drag & drop' feature of the Compute node, where the ESQL code is automatically generated on your behalf.

Using the compute node for message transformation:
You can use the ESQL within a compute node to transform a message from one format to another. For example, if you want to transform a generic XML message into an MRM message, you can:- Add the MRM message to Output Messages on the basic tab of the compute node properties dialog.
- If you want to retain the headers of the message, select Copy message headers.
- Select the Use as message body check box. This generates ESQL similar to:
SET OutputRoot.Properties.MessageSet = 'DHOP5F709S001';
SET OutputRoot.Properties.MessageType = 'test_message';
Note that it is the message identifier that is required in the MessageType field.
- Specify the output format of the message (this must be one of CWF, PDF, or XML). For example:
SET OutputRoot.Properties.MessageFormat = 'CWF';
- Specify the new message domain (in this transformation, this step is not necessary because MRM is the default, but you are recommended to include this for completeness):
SET OutputRoot.Properties.MessageDomain = 'MRM';
- Create ESQL statements to populate your output message, either manually or by using drag and drop to generate automatic mappings. The same principles apply for other message transformations.

Oh yeah, by the way, consider upgrading to a supported version, either v2.1 (out of support on 9/30/2006) or v5.0. |
