Hi,
- I am about to install the trial wsmq 6.0 on windows xp that i downloaded from ibm site
- I read that one of prereqs is : SK 32-bit IBM for windows, java 2 technology Edition, Version 1.4.2
question: do I need to get this component and install it? where can i get it

I've never installed the trial stuff, but I would guess that since its an SDK, you would only need it if you plan on writing your own java programs that call mq. have you tried installing without it?
